Join us as we celebrate the launch of the Great Blue Wall Impact Report 2021 – 2025.
Born in the Western Indian Ocean, the Great Blue Wall is redefining what is possible when people, nature, and prosperity advance together. More than a conservation initiative, it is a growing movement bringing together governments, communities, scientists, youth, Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities, civil society, and the private sector around a shared ambition: restoring ocean health while creating resilient livelihoods, thriving blue economies, and a more sustainable future.
The Great Blue Wall Impact Report 2021–2025 captures the first chapter of this journey. It tells the story of a movement that has evolved from vision to action; supporting regenerative seascapes, strengthening community-led ocean governance, mobilizing investment, restoring critical coastal and marine ecosystems, and building partnerships capable of delivering change at scale.
During this sessions at the WIO-C Pavilion we shall also be joined by the World Economic Forum and partners for the launch of the recently published Regenerative Blue Economy: Pathways to Prosperity INSIGHT RERPORT.
The two reports are highly complementary bridging research, policy and practice in regenerative ocean development and conservation.
