Coordinated by Alliance Française de Mombasa and in partnership with the French embassy and the EU delegation in Kenya, the Mombasa Ocean Festival 2026 (June 18–20) marks its 5th edition and celebrates “Our Ocean, Our Heritage, Our Future” alongside EU@50 in Kenya. The program features a vibrant mix of events: an official opening with school contests, film screenings, and a youth quiz; a science café and photo exhibition; a Science & Innovation Day bringing together researchers, innovators, and policymakers; and an Ocean Fiesta at Alliance Française combining beach clean‑ups, art shows, and family activities, capped by a lively Fête de la Musique concert.
