Ocean Monitoring Masterclass

On 17 June, from 14:00–16:00 EAT, and as part of the Our Ocean Conference activities, OPERA/Mercator Ocean International will co-host an Ocean Monitoring Masterclass in partnership with Sote Hub, a leading blue economy incubation hub and training centre based in Mombasa, Kenya, and the Early Career Ocean Professionals Programme, Africa Node

The masterclass aims to raise awareness of ocean monitoring and highlight the vital role of ocean science in society.

This two-hour hybrid session will be facilitated by representatives from the OceanPrediction DCC African Regional Team, ECOP AFRICA NODE, the OPERA Project, and other ocean experts.
